Improve your clear speed and also make the PoE more enjoyable
Glad to see you enjoying PoE!
Just 2 quick things that might improve your clear speed and also make the game more enjoyable:
1- Always try to get % movement speed on your boots: although it may not seem as important at first, it's SUPER noticeable and once you try it you can't go back;
2- Try to link faster attacks support (green gem) to your shield charge, plus fortify you already linked. It's a standard because it's great for both mobility and defense.

A voidheart jugg will lose some damage but not really care that hydra is poison immune, a Path of Exile chaos barrage or spectral throw will be able to kill hydra but will have to actually play the game

The way armor works is too RNG in Path of Exile
The problem isn't really map mods. The problem is that armor and evasion are not even close to as good as having a giant 'life' pool.
